- There was room in the U-Haul for more stuff, but we were only taking what we knew we’d use. It was packed well and nothing moved the whole 1500 mile drive.
-
- We took a break at a “historical marker” in Wisconsin. The ridge was mined for iron ore in the 1800s.
-
- Lunch along a Wisconsin highway: leftover BBQ and peaches from the (Georgia) peach truck Jeff’s sister ordered in Michigan.
-
- CJ missed good veggies on the drive and asked for broccoli. We didn’t mean for him to eat it like that…
-
- This is around 10:30AM and that’s the sun, not the moon.. Forest fires burning close enough to make the atmosphere hazy but not smoky down here.
-
- Red: the house we are buying. Blue: International Friendship Gardens (huge). Green: swingset and play area. White: Roots to Harvest community garden.
